EM® Molasses
Sugar cane molasses is a thick, dark brown syrup with a slightly alkaline pH that is a byproduct of sugar production from sugar cane. It contains about 40% of sucrose and is rich in iron and other minerals, making it a valuable source of nutrients for microorganisms.
Applications:
Sugarcane molasses is an essential ingredient in the process of multiplying EM® 1 to the active form EM® A (EM® Active). Together with a suitable fermenter, water and sugar cane molasses, it is possible to produce EM® Active, which can be used in various processes, such as plant care, soil treatment and improving water quality.
Why sugar cane molasses?
– High sugar content : Provides an excellent source of energy for microorganisms.
– Rich in minerals : Enriching the environment with nutrients, it promotes the growth and development of beneficial microorganisms.
– Ideal for EM® : Thanks to these properties, molasses is a perfect ingredient for activating and multiplying effective microorganisms that are beneficial for the environment and plant health.
Sugarcane molasses plays an essential role in microbiological processes, supporting natural and ecological methods to improve environmental quality.
