EMIKO sea salt is made from original seawater of medicinal quality*. At a depth of 800 m lies the primordial sea, which was enclosed between two layers of rock more than 220 million years ago and has been protected from all environmental influences ever since. The special feature of this water is its extremely high mineral content of 31.8%.

Salt Production®
All substances contained in primordial sea water (brine) are preserved in the form of crystalline salt. This salt is composed of 91.5% of NaCl, the remainder being other minerals.

Flavor
