EM® Bokashi Compost Starter

Description

EM® Bokashi Compost Starter is a high quality organic product that contains Effective Microorganisms and is therefore designed to regenerate soil and thus produce high quality compost.

How Bokashi Compost Starter Works:

• Loosens and fertilizes the soil: Improves soil structure and nutrient availability.
• Stimulates root growth: Promotes healthy root development for better plant growth.
• Improves nutrient absorption: Helps plants utilize fertilizers more effectively.
• Ideal for composting: Facilitates efficient compost production.

Bokashi Compost Starter Ingredients:

• Effective Microorganisms
• Wheat bran
• Sugarcane molasses
• Water

Use:

For Composting:

• Accelerates fermentation during composting, without the need to turn the compost pile.
• First, chop the compost material and mix 1 kg of EM® Bokashi Compost Starter for every 100 kg of organic material.
• Then moisten the mixture with a 10% solution of EM® Naturally Active.
• Then, compact the pile (or cover it with plastic) to reduce access to oxygen. This anaerobic, low-temperature process helps minimize carbon and nitrogen losses compared to traditional composting methods.

For Plant Growth:

• The product supports biological processes in the soil.
• In order to obtain the best results, combine with EM® Naturally Active.
• Spread 1 kg of EM® Bokashi Compost Starter for every 100 m² of soil and mix.

For Organic Growing Media:

• Mix with moist potting soil at a ratio of 1 kg to 100 kg of soil.
• Let the mixture sit for about two weeks in an open bag or in a pile to develop a rich, biologically active medium ideal for flowers, vegetable seedlings, and more.
